The Building Cultural Competence Plus+ presentation is an expansion of the Building Cultural Competence (BCC) training sessions presented around the State.  This training has four objectives:  1. Learn common definitions related to cultural competence; 2. Learn about Michigan's cultural ethnic groups; 3. Experience cultures through religion and spirituality; and 4. Understand the benefits of cultural competence.

Also available is the newly created Civil Rights/Equal Opportunity presentation.  This presentation has three objectives: 1. Understand the work and procedures of the Michigan Department of Civil Rights; 2. Know civil rights laws and their protections; and 3. Have an enhanced interest in civil rights issues. 

Both training modules are formated to run as Microsoft Power Point slideshows.
